STEM, Coding & Artificial Intelligence
Build it, test it, then make it better.
All programs
Overview
Students learn by building things. Projects introduce computational thinking and the basics of coding, and give students practice breaking a big problem into smaller steps.
Students also get an age-appropriate introduction to artificial intelligence: what it is, how it learns, and where it gets things wrong.
What students learn
- Computational thinking
- Coding fundamentals
- Breaking problems into steps
- A grounded understanding of AI
How classes run
Most of each class is spent on projects. Students try an idea, see what happens and adjust it, with the teacher on hand when they get stuck.
Typical class activities
- Hands-on STEM projects
- Coding challenges
- Introductory AI activities
